Current work

I work as a programmer for PomBase - the pombe genome database at the Department of Biochemistry, Cambridge. I look after the PomBase website, the pombe Chado database and I work on the Canto community curation tool.

Previous work

In the past I worked on Artemis at the Sanger Institute and InterMine at the Systems Biology Centre, University of Cambridge, UK.

More recently I worked as a bioinformatics odd job man for the Department of Anatomy, University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. I spent part of my time helping with the tuatara genome project.

Contact

I can be contacted at kmr44@cam.ac.uk or kmr@kmr.nz. I work remotely from Dunedin.

I occasionally post on Twitter and I have a small web site for my CV:
