I'm currently the Phytozome Team Lead at the US Dept. of Energy Joint Genome Institute. My background is in sw engineering, bioinformatics, and physics. Having originally joined the JGI to support the human genome project, I now work on integrating open source components with in-house systems to provide JGI scientific users with visualization and analysis tools for plant comparative genomics.
