These are some things we are planning to work on, but could use hackathon help on --18:00, 26 July 2007 (EDT)
TableEdit possible goals
- TableEdit Chado round trip
- We would like to have Wiki tables populated from Chado (this is relatively easy) and Chado data updated or created from the wiki. The hard part is probably resolving edit conflicts.
- Since you are mostly dealing with textual information, maybe this isn't too much of a problem; just let everything in. If people put in conflicting information, let the community sort it out. Scott 10:09, 27 July 2007 (EDT)

- Should we think about writing an installer that would install a standard MediaWiki plus needed code patches and extensions to be a "GMOD wiki"?
Perhaps, but unless it's easy, I wouldn't make this a priority for the hackathon. I'm hoping to leave the hackathon with a working VMware appliance that already has MW installed. Scott 10:11, 27 July 2007 (EDT)
