__NOTITLE__

The next GMOD community meeting will be held 13-15 September 2010, in Cambridge, UK, immediately before Genome Informatics 2010. The meeting will be held at the University of Cambridge. GMOD Meetings are a mix of user and developer presentations, and are a great place to find out what happening in the project, what's coming up, and what others are doing. See the January 2010 GMOD Meeting page for an idea of what happens at a GMOD meeting.

Registration

Registration is not yet open. Watch this page, the mailing lists, and the GMOD News for updates.

  1. Add the topic to the list below. Be sure to include your contact information.
  2. Send an email about the satellite to the appropriate GMOD Mailing Lists.

All satellite meetings will conclude in time for people to make to the start of Genome Informatics on Wednesday night.

GMOD staff will promote the satellite meetings in any announcements that go out.

Logistics

We'll provide information on venue, lodging, and transportation in the coming months.

Feedback

"It's tempting to see bioinformatics as a collection of potential problems. Being at a GMOD meeting helps us see bioinformatics as a collection of potential solutions."
Isabelle Phan, SBRI, and January 2009 GMOD Meeting Participant

We will solicit feedback from meeting participants at the end of the meeting, and post it here once we have it.

Feedback on previous meetings (2010 January, August 2009, January 2009, and 2008 and before) has been very positive.
